March 2008 - let's focus as USB stick version
The new version 3.3 of let's focus - drawing attention is now available on an USB stick in addition to the CD version. This way you can always have your let's focus with you and use it on any windows computer (beginning with Windows 2000) without any need for installation or configuration.
February 2008 - let's focus 3.3 available
The new let's focus version 3.3 is now available. Besides working together with Microsoft Windows Vista you can find several new functionalities or improvements in detail. The update is free for every customer of a version 3.x of let's focus - drawing attention.

let's focus was presented at the ETH Zurich in the context of the Swiss Economist day, where Martin Eppler gave a key note address on knowledge visualization. August 2007 - The let's focus ruler presented in the Journal of Knowledge Management
The Journal of Knowledge Management, the oldest journal on the topic (edited by Emerald), has just published an article by Martin Eppler and Remo Burkhard that shows how the let's focus ruler is applied to knowledge management.

June 2007 - let’s focus net edition takes off
A preview version of the new let’s focus net edition is making waves: It has been used in transatlantic virtual workshops with DraftFCB (www.draftfcb.com), a leading advertising agency in New York, and with students for participatory lectures and living cases at the University of Lugano. The let's focus net edition lets users create joint conceptual visualization in real-time.

February 2007 - Prof. Martin J. Eppler Keynote Speaker at LEARNTEC 07
Prof. Martin J. Eppler, development partner of let's focus - drawing attention, will be giving the opening key note lecture at LEARNTEC 07 in Karlsruhe, Germany, one of Europe’s biggest e-learning conventions. His opening speech covers the history, present, and future of knowledge visualization in e-learning and knowledge management.

January 2007 - Visual-literacy.org goes live
Over 600 bloggers have covered the periodic table of visualization methods at visual-literacy.org that used let's focus and was created by Martin Eppler and Ralph Lengler. The table shows over 100 visualization methods with mouse-over examples and classifies them by various application criteria. On visual-literacy.org you can also find a demo module on using visualization in business.
December 2006 - Version 3.2 of let's focus released
let's focus - drawing attention is now available in version 3.2. Besides many enhancements in detail, the performance and stability especially in complex situations were greatly enhanced. If you are already a user of let's focus, simply download your new version from the support page.
November 2006 - let’s focus goes east
let’s focus has been validated in China. In various workshops and seminars to Chinese managers and researchers, let’s focus was used. The user experiences confirm that the Chinese react equally well to visual language and business diagramming, although they are still less familiar with the use of interactive visual metaphors.

July 2006 – version 3.1 avaliable
let's focus - drawing attention is now available in the version 3.1. This version offers an overhauled ruler, a quick edit bar at the bottom of the screen to edit objects more quickly and so called indicator icons showing which objects are commented or contain attachments. Additionally, this release offers many new backgrounds and icons as well as improvements in functionality and usability. Users of previous versions 3.0.x can download the new version.
