The newest release of let's focus also contains templates for business model innovation as well as techniques for idea generation in teams. The update is free for owners of let's focus 3.4.
November 2011 - let's focus 3.4 available
The new let's focus version 3.4 is now available. Besides working together with Microsoft Windows 7 you can find several new functionalities, 20 new backgrounds and about 40 new icons. The update is free for every customer of a version 3.x of let's focus - drawing attention.
The book with the software: Check out www.ManagementAtlas.com where you can see the upcoming book made with let's focus, as well as videos showing the let's focus software in action. It is used to explain influential management theories (so far only in German though).
December 2010 - First let's focus customer survey
In November of 2010 the let's focus team conducted its first systematic feedback survey of current let's focus users. The feedback will be used in future editions of the software.
June 2010 - let's focus goes WM
let's focus was used as the presentation software for this soccer championship inspired presentation at the Swiss Annual Telecom Industry summit. The presentation (in German) shows how business model innovation can be fostered systematically.

September 2009 - Improving meetings through visualization: New evidence
In the following video we describe the results of several experiments where we compared lets-focus to traditional flipchart-based strategy meetings. The results clearly show that groups working with lets-focus consistently outperform those working with flipcharts.

A new study conducted by Dr. Dennis Schoenenborn at the University of Zurich shows that Powerpoint hides rather than shows decision alternatives and thus emphasizes the risks of using Powerpoint for Decision Support in meetings because of its static nature.

The new version 3.3 of let's focus - drawing attention is now available on an USB stick in addition to the CD version. This way you can always have your let's focus with you and use it on any windows computer (beginning with Windows 2000) without any need for installation or configuration.

Over 600 bloggers have covered the periodic table of visualization methods at visual-literacy.org that used let's focus and was created by Martin Eppler and Ralph Lengler. The table shows over 100 visualization methods with mouse-over examples and classifies them by various application criteria. On visual-literacy.org you can also find a demo module on using visualization in business.

November 2006 - let’s focus goes east
let’s focus has been validated in China. In various workshops and seminars to Chinese managers and researchers, let’s focus was used. The user experiences confirm that the Chinese react equally well to visual language and business diagramming, although they are still less familiar with the use of interactive visual metaphors.

This version offers an overhauled ruler, a quick edit bar at the bottom of the screen to edit objects more quickly and so called indicator icons showing which objects are commented or contain attachments.
